Mrs. Margaret Almeroth, age seventy, wife of Leonard Almeroth, died suddenly Friday
night at eleven-thirty o'clock at their home in Flat Rock.
Death was caused by heart trouble. Mrs. Almeroth complained that she did not feel well when she retired to her room Friday night. She had been in ill health for more than a year, but had not been confined to her bed.
She had lived in Flat Rock for forty-five years, and was widely known through that section of the county.
She was born in Dearborn County, on March 10, 1853. In November 1879, she was married to Mr. Almeroth, Mrs. Almeroth was a member of the Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Robert Caldwell, of Little Rock, Arkansas; Mrs. Roy Nading, of Flat Rock; Mrs. Harry Schafer, of Jackson, Tennessee; one sister, Mrs. Mary Holley, of Osgood; one brother, Henry Hornfeld, of Champaigne, Illinois; one grandchild; two-half sisters; one step-sister, and one step-brother.
Funeral services will be conducted at the home Monday afternoon at two o'clock, the Rev. Thomas of Indianapolis, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Godwin, of Flat Rock.
Burial will be made in the Flat Rock Cemetery. C.F. Fix & Son in charge.
