Haskell Paul Burgess, 78, of Livingston, passed away June 10 at his home. Family visitation was held June 15 at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was born Feb. 12, 1936, in Overton County. He was a bus driver for UCHRA and Overton County Schools. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, Esby and Georgia Lynn Burgess; brother, Edward Burgess; and sisters, Cordelia Burgess and Ruby Anderson. Surviving relatives include his wife of 52 years, Eunice Danner Burgess, of Livingston; sons, Greg (Michelle) Burgess, of Hilham, Jeff (Denise) Burgess, of Baxter and Robert “Bobby” Burgess, of Cookeville; sisters, Reva Reece, of Cookeville, and Lucille Buck, Trudy Hunter and Linnie Dildine, all of Allons; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and four step great grandchildren.
