She passed just a few days after giving birth to William and her husband was later re-married to her cousin Letitia Somerville and had two more boys before leaving for Idaho with all 5 boys.
She had another cousin Martha who married into the Kesler family which traveled with the Winklers to Idaho.
Other children are Jonathan Henry Winkler born 17 October 1848 and died 27 April 1859, Samuel H. Winkler born 14 August 1850 and died 05 October 1851, Mary Caroline Winkler born 26 December 1852 and died 23 June 1858, Dianna Catherine Winkler born 25 September 1856 and died 29 April 1859 (twin sister of George Maddux Winkler), Charles Winkler born 05 March 1861 and died 07 August 1861, and Lucia Lee Winkler born 12 May 1864 and died 05 May 1865.
