EDWARD J. TALARSKI, 80, of Beach Haven West, STAFFORD, died Tuesday, April 4, at Southern Ocean County Hospital, Stafford. Born in Passaic, he lived in Oakland and Paramus before moving to Beach Haven West 17 years ago. He was a vice president of Valley National Bank, Fairlawn. He was an Army veteran, and a member of the Forked River Elks. He also was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Brant Beach.
Surviving are his wife, Edna Mae Horak Talarski; a sister, Irene Talarski of Brockton, Mass.; two nephews; two nieces; four great-nephews; and four great-nieces.
Viewing hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at Maxwell Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Brant Beach, followed by interment at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Francis of Assisi Church, Brant Beach, or The Forked River Elks.
