Mrs. Orvella Allums Atkinson, age 89, of Adamsville, AL, went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 27th, 2013. Mrs. Atkinson was a member of Westwood Baptist Church since 1950. She touched many lives through the preschool ministries. All those who knew her respected her kind and gentle spirit.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elton and Pearlie Allums, sister, Onzell Tingle and granddaughter, Augusta Jean Atkinson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Guy. sons, Randy (Sharron), Reggie (Ginger), John (Carol), Jimmy (Katie), brother, Truman (Peggy), sister, Nancy, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services Saturday, June 29th, at 3 o'clock p.m. at Westwood Baptist Church, Rev. Steve Potts officiating..
