Mr. Gary Molitor, recently of Sunset Road in Port Washington, passed away Saturday morning, November 8, 2014, at Agrace Hospice Care in Madison. He was 68 years old. Gary was born in Port Washington on April 14, 1946, son of Jerome and Mabel Kibbel Molitor. He attended local schools, including Port Washington High School, before serving in the US Navy during the Viet Nam War. On May 30, 1970 Gary was united in marriage with Janet Gutzman at St. John's Lutheran Church in Port Washington. The couple settled in Port and started their family. Gary worked at Simplicity Mfg. in Port Washington for over 40 years, retiring in 2010 as the Supervisor of the Parts Department. Gary was a proud member of Port Washington VFW Post 5373, as well as a former member of the Port Washington Fire Department and Ozaukee Rescue. He enjoyed fishing, golf, and socializing in local establishments such as The Grand Ave. Saloon, where so many friends became like family. He is survived by his wife, Janet, of Juneau, WI, and their two daughters: Michelle (Buddy) Wallace of Cleveland, AL and Melanie (Matt) Dart of Oregon, WI. He is further survived by four grandchildren: Ryan Molitor, Dillon Laverdure, Graysen and Caden Dart, brother Michael (Vicky) Molitor of Kewaunee, IN, brother-in-laws Jerry (Diana) Gutzman and Jim Gutzman, both of Port Washington and a sister-in-law Janis Barber, also of Port Washington, nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Duwayne and 2 sisters: Carol and Patricia. A Gathering of Remembrance will take place at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave., Port Washington, on Friday, November 14th from 4-6PM. Family remembrances will be shared at 6:15pm followed by Military Honors at 6:45PM. S
