Jimmy Matthew Adams, 90, died Monday, November 10, 2014.
Born in Laurens County, he was the son of the late Eugene Adams and Vivian Cheek Tumblin.
Mr. Adams served in the US Navy in World War II. He retired from Michelin Tire Corp. He was a Mason and a Shriner. He was an avid bowler, card player and loved to dance and travel.
Surviving are daughters, Jimmie Lynn Capps (John) and Jane Rene Lukas (Tim Moore); grandchildren, Hillary Pioth-Hunter (Ike Hunter), Samantha Capps-Martin (Tommy Martin), Alexandra Capps; great grandchild, Jules Rene Pioth-Hunter; and his loving nephew, Lee Adams. He was predeceased by wife, Sara Catherine Blackwell and brothers, Eugene and John Adams.
