Jesse Jasper Carson, colored, died at two o'clock Sunday morning from tuberculosis at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Carson, 901 N street. He was 27 years of age, and had been working as a hotel porter. His father, Reuben Carson is a well known colored man, who is employed at the Hixon Lumber Co. Funeral services were held at 2:30 this afternoon at the Ebenezer Baptist church, the Rev. J. W. Hill, officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill cemetery.
