Norman Harry Rindt was born in Danville, IL, a son of Harry A. and Lois Hudson Rindt. He had one sister, Janice Rindt Arden.
Norman was on an outing at the Sportsman's Club Beach at Lake Vermilion with friends when he passed away. He could not swim, and stepped into deep water. He was a Danville Commercial News paperboy for 5 years, and would have been a sophomore at Danville High School.
