Wayne Dowdy, 34, of Mayfield died at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan 10, 2004 at his residence.
He had worked for Kendor Wood Company and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.
His survivors include two sons, Nathan Dowdy and Aaron Dowdy, both of Mayfield; a daughter, Ashley Dowdy, Mayfield; his parents, Albert and Anna Ballard Dowdy, Mayfield; four brothers, Joe Dowdy, Danny Dowdy, Gary Lee Dowdy, and Gary Wayne Dowdy, all of Mayfield; and four sisters, Julia Snow and Mae Lassiter, both of Mayfield, Priscilla Turner, Sedalia, and Susan Thomas, Hickory.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield with the Rev. Jimmy Madding and the Rev. Mark Terhune officiating. Burial will be in Mayfield Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Nathan, Gary, Michael, Heath, and Aaron Dowdy, Shane Lassiter, Steven Guthrie, and Josh Turner.
