MANY GO TO FUNERAL

Obsequies of Mrs. Emma Christensen Are Conducted

Simple funeral services were held at the Second ward meeting house at noon yesterday for Mrs. Emma Christensen, wife of John W. Christensen.
The church was filled with relatives and friends and a profusion of flowers that literally buried the casket, covered the altar and chancel railings, bore mute but beautiful testimony to the love and esteem in which the young woman was held.
Services were opened with prayer by John Gallacher, followed by a solo, "Nearer My God to Thee," by Miss Beulah White. Miss White also sang, "I Know That My Redeemer Liveth," after which a brief but feeling tribute to the dead was paid by H. B. Rider. George W. Bowles of the ward bishopric spoke of the fortitude and patience with which Mrs. Christensen endured her long suffering.
Miss Evelyn Beuhler sang "Oh, My Father," after which the closing prayer was offered by Mr. Gallacher. Interment was in City cemetery, where the grave was dedicated by Mr. Gallacher.
