Feb 19, 1928 - Oct 30, 2014 KANSAS CITY, KS Percy C. Jones, a longtime resident of Oklahoma City, OK, departed into the arms of God on October 30, 2014, in Kansas City, Kansas. He was born to George W. Jones and Annie Odette Prather-Jones on February 19, 1928, in Adair, OK. He graduated from high school in Big Cabin, OK and attended A&M College in Northeastern Oklahoma. He served in the European Theater Occupational Forces during WWll. He worked for the City of Oklahoma City as a Chief Appraiser until he retired. Percy was a member of the Sooner Baptist Church. He will be greatly missed; he is at peace now and without pain. Percy was preceded in death by his parents, six sisters, and three brothers; stepdaughter, Kim Rushing; and his beloved wife, Mary Alice. He is survived by his daughters, Penny R. Naugle, Kimberly Columbus and husband Chris, and Tobi Hajjar and husband Mahmoud; stepchildren, Kevin Snider, Donna Osborne and Jason Curry; grandchildren, Kyle, Kristen, Kendal, Sohelia, Fariba, and Nadia; five step-grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the Reverend Bill Spain and Dulan Small for the love and care shown to Percy during his illness. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 6, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel.
