Mrs. Harry Strom, 62, resident of Elk township for the past 43 years, died early today at a local hospital, where she was taken July 9th, after suffering a stroke.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 23, at 2 pm at the Church of Brethren in elk township, by the Rev. J. D. Kyser. Burial will be in the Brethren Cemetary.
Mrs. Storm, nee Ferrington, was born May 19, 1887, at Redwood Falls, daughter of Luke and Ada Mason Ferrington. She was married there February 21, 1906, to Harry Strom.
They came to this community immediately after their marriage and having resided here ever since.
Survivors include, besides her husband, four daughters, Mrs. Buell Adolph and Mrs. Kenneth Hansberger, Worthington; Mrs. Arnold Sheppard, Buckus, and Mrs. Russell Herpich, Manhattan, Kansas; three sons, Walter, Roland and Alvin Storm, all of Worthington. Other survivors are a sister, Mrs. J. T. Conwell, Seaside, Oregon and four brothers, Ferris, Glen, and Ernest Ferrington all of Portland, Oregon, and Merrill Ferrington, Arlington, Neb.
