Lynnette Sue Bishop-Kirk, 60, of Sedro-Woolley, WA and formerly of Anacortes, WA, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at Life Care Center of Skagit Valley, in Sedro-Woolley, after fighting cancer.

She was born December 19, 1944, in Bellingham,Washington, the youngest daughter of Lloyd and Ardys B. (Alex) Bishop. Lynnette was a life long resident of Anacortes, graduating from Anacortes High School in 1963 and loved the Skagit Valley area.
She worked in her family business and owned a small "99" cent store next to her father's restaurant and grocery store. In the 1980's, Lynnette purchased the "19th Hole" restaurant next to Similk Beach Golf Course, from her parents upon their retirement.

Having a servant's heart, Lynnette was tireless with her work at the restaurant, continuously giving of herself to others. She was a "strong woman" in many respects: in her thoughts, seeing things in her own way, speaking her mind, and especially not afraid to speak the truth. All will miss her. Lynnette is preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Ardys.

She is survived by her son, Greg Bishop, of Huntington Beach, CA; sisters and brother-in-law Donna & Jack Smith of Anacortes, WA, and Marilyn Sterba of Langley, WA; three nieces; and three nephews.

Visitation will be held at 9 am to 12 pm Friday, December 16, 2005 at Evans Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Fernhill Cemetery, Anacortes. Arrangements are in the care of Evans Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Anacortes.
