Wife of Isaac Cox. Married in Kalamazoo June 24, 1872

Mrs. Nancy Cox, wife of the late Isaac Cox, passed away Monday evening at 7 o'clock at her home, 713 Forest street. She was born 64 years ago last August and has lived in Kalamazoo or its vicinity most of her life. She leaves three brothers, Aard Cahill of Plainwell, Mortimer Cahill of Chicago and Daniel Cahill of Coffeeville, Kan., and one sister, Mrs. Charles Bennett of this city. Her niece, Miss Bertha Cahill, daughter of Daniel Cahill, has lived with her for some time. The two had been visiting in Kansas and on their return visited in Chicago, where the deceased was taken ill. She hastened home and continued to grow worse rapidly. Mrs. Nancy Boynton became the wife of Mr. Cox June 24, 1874. She was a member of the First Baptist church and secretary of the Women's union. Arrangements for the funeral will await the arrival of the brothers.
