Mrs. Lotta "Lottie" M. Rosenkranz, 83, of LaCrosse, died Saturday, March 25, 2006, at Regency Hospital, Portage.
She was born May 29, 1922, in Starke County to Andrew and Nova (Shadle) Baughman.
Mrs. Rosenkranz was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, LaCrosse, and of its Ladies Aid. She was a Knox High School graduate.
On Sept. 6, 1941, in LaPorte County, she married Max Rosenkranz, who died Jan. 15, 1978.
One son, Ed; one grandson, Brett; six brothers and one sister also preceded her in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Marie of Valparaiso; two sons, Chester "Chet" and Lee (Brenda), both of LaCrosse; four grandchildren, Ryan, Garrett, Missy and Lisa; two great-grandsons; one sister, Libby Robowski of Kingsford Heights; and daughter-in-law, Nancy of LaCrosse.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, LaCrosse, with Rev. Joel Zipay officiating. Friends may call Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the service. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Kouts. Kosanke Funeral Home, Kouts, is in charge of arrangements.
