Violet E. Weymouth
GARDINER — Violet E. Weymouth, 88, formerly of Dresden, died Sunday, July 28, 2002, at the Robinson's Health Care Facility in Gardiner following a long illness.
She was born in Whitefield, May 19, 1914, a daughter of John A. and Albertine (Bouffard) Grady. She attended Waterville High School.
Vi had been employed for many years at Maxy Insurance Co. in Gardiner.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert M. Weymouth, who died May 26, 1986, and a grandchild, Brian Pushard.
She is survived by two sons, John Lee Pushard and his wife, Nellie, of Gardiner, and Ben A. Pushard and his wife, Maxine, of Chelsea; three stepchildren, Darrell, Verna and Sheila; two sisters, Cynthia H. Vigue of Gardiner and Beulah M. Madden of Litchfield; four grandchildren, Cheryl, Tracee, Sherry and Mike; several step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visiting hours will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, July 29, at Staples Funeral Home, 53 Brunswick Ave., Gardiner, where a funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 39. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Dresden. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Robinson Health Care Facility Activity Fund, P.O. Box 670, Gardiner, Maine 04345.
