She was born November 5, 1925 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Harry and Margaret Probst Harrer. On December 5, 1943 she married William Aper in Jamaica, New York. He preceded her in death on February 5, 1972. Virginia was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy White and 2 sisters.
Surviving are her children, Mary (Jerry) Hollis, James Aper, Tom (Eileen) Aper, Jack Aper and William (Pam) Aper; 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Virginia was a secretary at Wabash Center from 1968 until retiring on December 1, 1987. She had previously worked at Andover Corp. for 10 years.
