James Henry Beesley was born on October 29, 1954 and returned to his Heavenly Father on November 4, 2014.

He was born in Rigby, Idaho, the 6th child of Alden Henry Beesley and Phyllis Bowles Beesley. He attended school in Rigby and graduated from Rigby High School in 1973.

He attended Ricks College in Rexburg and served a two year ASL mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in California.

On July 16, 1976 he married Karyn Poole in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple who lovingly cared for him throughout his life.

He was a High Priest in the Rigby Idaho Stake and served in several callings including Elders Quorum president, Sunday School president, and ward clerk. His latest assignment was as the West Piney Scheduling Coordinator.

He served in the community as a Varsity Boy Scout coach and was a volunteer fire fighter for the City of Rigby for 15 years. He worked as a construction cost estimator for Clark Brothers Construction, Ormond Builders and Domtec International.

He enjoyed four-wheeling and fishing with his “boys”, Adam and Todd. He was a fly fisherman and he learned how to tie flies and even built his own fly rod. He enjoyed camping and four-wheeling with his family and took pride in keeping a beautiful yard and garden.

He was a loving husband, son, father and grandfather. He was “papa” to eight beautiful grandchildren who never missed a chance for an adventure with him. His daughters were his pride and joy who completed the circle of his family.

James is survived by his wife of 38 years, Karyn Beesley, of Rigby; daughters: Laura Kay (Adam) Ferguson, of Bonney Lake, WA, Alynn (Todd) Becraft, of Hibbard, and Kathryn Kauer, of Kuna; mother, Phyllis Moss, of Rigby; sisters: Florene (Larry) Bergmann, of Roberts, Aldene Howell, of Rexburg, Aloma (Paul) Bowen, of Lyman, Anne (Brent) Scott, of Eden, UT, Darlene Durrant, of Pocatello, Bonnie (Mark) Olaveson, of Rigby, Jana (Barry), Dixon of Heber, UT, and Barbara (Lamar) Brower, of Rigby; brother, Clifford (Carol) Beesley, of Grant; and eight grandchildren.
