Longtime Hoquiam resident Dorothy Louise Aanderud died Friday, October 10, 2014 in Redmond, Oregon, She was 92.

Mrs. Aanderud was born July 14, 1922 in Eckley, CO to William and Addie Neuschwanger.

On Sept. 26, 1948 she married Gerald J. Aanderud in Portland, OR. The couple then made their home in Hoquiam, WA. Dorothy was a homemaker, and was dearly loved by her family and friends.

Mrs. Aanderud was a charter member of Galilean Lutheran Church in Ocean Shores WA and belonged to Calvary Lutheran Church in Aberdeen WA.

She is survived by her daughter Janis Fisher of Redmond, OR, her grandchildren Tracy and David Aanderud, Andrew and Matthew Fisher and her sister Melva Probasco of McMinnville, OR.

Dorothy’s husband Gerald, her son Craig and her grandson Lee preceded her in death.
