Paul moved with his family to Red Wing in 1947. At age 18, he went to Fairbault State Hospital, where he lived until 1991, when he moved back to Goodhue County. He lived at an REM home in Zumbroata for a short time before moving to his current home, also an REM home. He had worked at the Interstate Rehabilitation Center and the Hygenic Services. He loved listening to Music.
Mr. Babler is survived by two brothers, Melvin Smith of Goodhue and Gary (Charlotte) Babler of Red Wing; two sisters, Kathleen (Robert) Hall of Bellechester, and Dorothy (Leonard) Jamison of Red Wing. He was preceded in death by his parents. Burial was at Bush Cemetery in Winona Co.
