Josephine G. Siampaus, age 90, of Findlay, Ohio, and formerly of St. Stephen, Minnesota passed away peacefully on Friday, March 4, 2011 with family at her side.

"Josie" was born on November 3, 1920 in Sartell, Minnesota to Jacob and Agnes (Peternell) Hlebain. She married John Siampaus on September 21, 1959. Josephine graduated from St. Francis High School in Little Falls, MN and subsequently became a Registered Nurse. She served her country in WWII as a United States Naval Nurse and was honorably discharged in 1946. She then worked in hospital and as a private duty RN. She embodied her nursing profession until the very end.

She was a former member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church, and present member St. Michal's Catholic Church (Findlay, OH), Daughters of Isabella, and several bridge groups.

Josephine enjoyed music, especially playing the organ, playing Bridge, golf, and Polka dancing. She enjoyed telling stories and had a wonderful sense of humor.
