Catherine Ann Barra Buxton, age 84, of Corydon, KY, passed away at 1:04 AM, Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at her home under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice.
Catherine was born in Evansville, IN, the daughter of Ned and Mary Pauline Barra. She taught in the Henderson County School system as a teacher for 25 years. She was a member of Corydon Methodist Church and had attended Dixie United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Local and State Retired Teachers Association and the Genealogical Society in Corydon. She loved cats, reading and her farm in Corydon.
