Kenny was born June 26, 1978, to Sharon (nee Sturtz) and Peter Kerry Holmes, in Miles City, Mont. He moved to southwest Missouri, at age 15, and has remained the past 21 years.
Kenny is survived by two daughters, Chantal and Maddy Holmes, of Rogersville; his mother, Sharon (David) Ellis, of Branson; his father, Kerry Holmes, of Texas; brother, Levi Holmes, of Oklahoma; sister, Keri (Adam) Comella, of Vancouver, Wash.; half sister, Beth Holmes Lehew, of Dallas, Texas; half brother, Garren Holmes, of the Dallas area; grandmother, Birdie (Dick) Blankenship, of Branson; fiancée, Crystal Williams, of the home; niece, Ryelee Holmes; nephews, Nolan and Phoenix Miller, and Drayven Lehew; numerous aunts, uncles. and cousins; as well as friends he considered family. He was preceded in death by his nephew, Logan Holmes; grandfather, Marlin Sturtz; his Holmes grandparents; aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Kenny worked as a cook and a freelance tattoo artist. He also worked as a landscape artist and enjoyed the outdoors. He loved music, played the guitar, and spent many hours drawing. Kenny was a member of Southside Baptist Church, in Joplin.
Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at Southside Baptist Church. A graveside service will be held in Branson at the Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery (Snapps-Beardon) at 4 p.m.
