George A. Augusto, 92, a 35-plus-year resident of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014. He was born and raised in Newark, N.J.
He married Needda in 1944, and the couple celebrated 70 years of marriage in July 2014. They lived in Patterson, N.J., and then Belleville, N.J.
He is survived by his wife, Needda Augusto; and daughter, Loraine (Peter) of Cooper City, Fla.
Burial at Our Lady Queen of Heaven in North Lauderdale, Fla.
