Fairmont, WVa - Mrs Jean Elizabeth McGovern, 76, died here Thursday in Fairmont Emergency Hospital. She was born May 13, 1879 in Lambeth District, Co of Surrey, Scotland and was a daughter of the late George and Christina (Harley) Martin. She was married four times and her fourth husband, Joseph S McGovern, died at Elk Garden, seven years ago. She is survived by nine children: John Crouse, Toronto, Ohio; Frank Crouse, Shallmar, Md; Mrs Christina Shellingburg, Rivesville; Mrs Elizabeth Patrick, Baxter; Mrs Anita Wilt, Baltimore; Mrs Anna Utt, Toronto, Ohio; Samuel McKenzie, Baxter; William Mayles, Westernport; Clarence Mayles, with the U S Air Force in Guam; 40 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
