Death notice in the Pensacola News Journal on Wednesday, November 5, 2014: David Jacob Allgyer Sr. of Pensacola died Monday, Nov. 3, 2014. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Family-Funeral & Cremation. Services: Noon Friday at the funeral home.

"Dave" is the son of LeRoy and Lizzie Allgyer; brother to Lester, married to Lillian "Lolly" Smith; Ruth Ann married to Nelson Nolt, Emmanuel of Illinois, Will; and Kenneth, married to Lucy nee Martin. He is the ex-husband of Deborah Smith. They had the following children: Deborah Lynn "Debbie," wife of Daniel Carpenter; David J Jr, married to Marie (Martin); P LeRoy married to Ruth (Bennetch); Jason D, and Sheila Faye; also husband of Donna L.

He attended the Northside Apostolic Church.
