Agnes was born on February 13, 1931, in Wheatland, WY to parents William and Mary McQuire Martel. She married Thomas Charles Anderson.
Agnes won numerous awards from the Natrona County Fair for sewing, crocheting, knitting, quilting, canning, jams, jellies, and baking. She also enjoyed fishing, Polka dancing, card playing and bingo.
Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters and one brother.
She is survived by her children: Jim Anderson of Casper, (daughter, Angela of Utah) Allen (Karen) Anderson (sons, Bill Anderson, Joe Anderson, J.D. Anderson), all of Casper, Richard (Penny) Anderson of Sheridan, (son, Shawn Anderson of Sheridan and daughter, Cassandra of Arizona) Wayne (Elsie) Anderson of Casper, (children, Randy, Brandie, Stacie, Herb (deceased) of Casper, and Brandon of Washington, Donald (Shelley) Anderson of Sheridan, (daughter, Alannah) her sister, Martha (Mike) Leyerle of Colorado Springs, CO, that faithfully made a yearly trip to Sheridan for a wonderful and “looked forward to visit” with her sister Agnes.
