According to her fathers Bible records (which I have a copy of), she had two sons by his neighbor, Humes Isaac Farr, who married Sarah C. Blair on Nov. 17, 1879 in Blount County, TN.
Mary's first child was Anderson Franklin Boring (Farr in Isacc Preston Boring's Bible). He went by Frank Boring and was born on Feb. 2, 1878. Frank Boring died young, in 1890. I haven't been able to locate his burial place. But the neat thing is that a sample of Frank's handwriting is forever preserved in the Bible, where he signed his name.
Mary's second child, my great grandfather, was William Henry Boring. His birth is also recorded in Isaac Preston's Bible, and he is listed as a Farr. However, he went by Bill Boring. There is a link to both of her children on this site.
