Funeral services for Charles Robert Beck, 79, former restaurant operator who died Wednesday at his home, will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m., in the Keller and Son Funeral Home. The Rev. Donald Judson, rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church will officiate with burial in Oakwood Cemetery.


A native of Riley Township was born August 21, 1885, son of David and Mary Martin Beck. His wife, the former Mary M. Horton, died April 4, 1961.


Surviving are her stepson, Francis W., Howard, Paul W. and Robert A. Gray, all of Fremont; stepdaughters, Miss Mildred Gray, Toledo; Mrs. Virgil Moran and Mrs. Imogene Baptista, both of Fremont; brothers Chester, Loran; Jake, Toledo; 18 step-grandchildren and 15 step-great-grandchildren. Mr. Beck was preceded in death by his wife, four brothers and three sisters.


Friends may call at the funeral home beginning Thursday at 7 p.m.
