According to the book "Epitaphs" by Jacki Nein and others, the graves that
were marked by a headstone were removed to Laureldale Cemetery in 1926.
Although her book implies new stones were provided for each moved grave.
The actual site is apparently still above water. She did a survey of site
with a divining rod and believes there are still burials there; although at
this point they would be unknown. Her book has a list of burials from
headstone readings taken before they were moved.
