John Belcher, age 28, was living next to his brother, Limon (Simon) Belcher, in 1930, Cross County, Tyronza Township. He had a 23 year old wife, Lizzie. Both John and Lizzie Belcher had been born in West Virginia. They had three sons, all born Arkansas; Clarence age 11, Everett age 9, and John age 2 yrs 5 months (John was born in Haynes, AR).
In 1940, this family was in Crittenden County, Tyronza Twp. They were 3 households away from my father and grandfather, Verser Lunsford, so around Three Forks. John Belcher, age 41, born WV, was farming. Lizzie, wife, age 42, born WV. Children; Clarence age 23, Emmett age 17, both born WV. John M. age 11, and Ellis, age 3, both born AR. The family had also been living in Crittenden County in 1935.
