At his residence.
A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, he was a son of the late Fred and Elizabeth Kelley Frye and was preceded in death by a daughter, SeLena Frye; sister, Frances Frye Swafford; brother, Franklin “Dude” Frye; mother-in-law, Edna O’Daniel Everette. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from TVA and was also an avid golfer. Farrell was a member of the Order of Eastern Star #159; Alhambra Shriners of Chattanooga; Knights Temple and also a member of the Meridian Sun Lodge #50 F & AM. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years,

Two brothers,
Freddie Frye of Jesup, GA.
Brother and caregiver, Floyd Frye of Athens
Sister-in-law,
Paulette Duncan of Athens
Several nieces and nephews.
A Masonic service will be 7pm Monday with a funeral service following in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Hodsen officiating. Burial will be 10 am Tuesday in McMinn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be members of the Meridian Sun Lodge #50 F & AM.
The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Monday at the funeral home.
