Patricio (Pat) Acosta, 80, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2014.
Born on April 4, 1934 in Miami, AZ, to Jose Maria and Laura Acosta, Pat is survived by his wife of 61 years, Carmen Z. Acosta, his daughter, Terrie L. (Arturo) Serrano, his son Pat Z. Acosta, his daughter, Susan Ann (Bill) Kintis, and his son, Edward Acosta. Pat has three grandchildren, Arturo F. Serrano, Francesca (Vernon) Stevens, and Carmela Kintis. Pat also has three great-grandchildren, Nikolas, Alfred and Ellyanna Stevens.
His brother Joe preceded Pat in death, and his sisters, Sophia, Micaela, Teresita and Lupe, survive him.
Visitation will be held at Meldrum Mortuary, 52 N. Macdonald, Mesa, AZ on Thursday October 30, 2014 from 6-8:00pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday October 31, 2014 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 230 W. Galveston, St., Chandler, AZ at 11:00am.
Burial at the City of Mesa Cemetery, 1212 N. Center St, Mesa, AZ will follow the mass.
