Mr Melton passed away October 30, 2014 surrounded by family. He served in the U.S. Army. He first worked as a milk hauler for Kraft Foods prior to owning & operating the Standard Oil Gas Station. He retired from MO DC. During his career, he belonged to a number of organizations: Royal Arch Masons, Boy Scout Troop counselor, Lion’s Club, California Jaycee’s, & California Chamber of Commerce. He was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church, where he served as deacon. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, arrowhead hunting & theoutdoors.
Survived a daughter & daughter-in-law, 4 grkids, 6 grgrkids, plus numerous other relatives & friends.
