Mrs. Rose Marie Birdwell, age 65, of Windy Ridge Lane, Murphy, NC, passed away Friday, October 31, 2014 at her home following an extended illness. She was born January 2, 1949 in Reed City, MI to the late Max Merton and Frieda (Sterflinger) Oswald. Mrs. Birdwell moved to this area 20 years ago from Deland, FL. She loved people and doing Genealogy. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, November 2, 2014, at 2:00 PM at Bellview Community Center with Tom Darrow officiating. In lieu of flowers make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or Regency Hospice of Andrews.
