BAGG-Daniel Bagg was born in Chenango County, N.Y., February 8th, 1820, and died at Rochester, Cedar County, Iowa, June 12, 1891, aged 71 years, 4 months, and 4 days.
In 1859, deceased was married to Miss Polly Engals. In 1862, he moved to Michigan where he resided until 1867, when he came west and settled in Rochester, Cedar County, Iowa, where he lived-- with the exception of two years here in Tipton, till his death. Funeral services were held the 14 inst. cunducted by Rev. J.H. Scull, and at the grave under the direction of "Golden Rule Lodge," A.F. and A.M. Rochester of which the deceased was a member. Some fifteen members of the Cedar logde, of Tipton, were present and assisted in the deeply impressive services of the order, W.H. Cobb acting as Master by request of W.M. Kilbourne of local lodge. A large gathering of neighbors and friends of the deceased were present and followed in the long procession to the place of interment.
