CANDICE BLYTHE GRANT, age 21, a current resident of Johnson City, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 25, 2006.

Candice was born May 15, 1984 in Austin and raised in Dripping Springs. Growing up she was a member of Dripping Springs First Baptist Church Girls in Action Group, Youth Groups and 4-H Club. Candice was a graduate of Dripping Springs High School where she loved dancing with the High Stepper Drill Team. She was employed at Texas Hills Vineyard in Johnson City. Candice was a very loving, fun spirited person who never knew a stranger and brought smiles to everyone around her.

Survivors include her mother, Tammy Allen; brother, Heath Grant; grandparents, Jesse and Carolyn Allen; aunts and uncles, Kim and Jeff Dodd and Toby Allen; cousins, Tanner, Hunter and Parker Dodd; and countless family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at First Baptist Church in Dripping Springs.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at the First Baptist Church in Dripping Springs with Reverend David Smith officiating. Interment will be in Allen McNeil Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Terry Burklund, Heath Burklund, Dillon Ischy, Lance Lovelace, Damon Smith and Gene Tatsch. Honorary pallbearers are Roy O'Dell and Doug Callegari.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Candice's memory to the Heath Grant College Fund. Donations can be made to Cattleman's National Bank, 401 East Highway 290, Dripping Springs, TX 78620 or 403 Hwy 281 South, Johnson City, TX 78636.
