Daughter of William Daniel Amsberry of Southside, Mason County, West Virginia and Amanda Jane "Jennie" Meyers of Plymouth, Marshall County, Indiana.

Wife of Milo Craig Brenaman of Alliance, Box Butte County, Nebraska; married on 18 February 1928 in Sidney, Cheyenne County, Nebraska.

"Ruby A. Brenaman, 89, of 603 Black Hills, died Saturday, March 7, 1987 at St. Joseph Gerontology Center.
She was born November 20, 1897 at Mason City, Nebraska to the late W.D. and Jennie Amsberry. She moved to Box Butte County with her family in 1925 and married Milo C. Brenaman in Sidney on February 18, 1928. They were farmers until they retired and moved to Alliance.
She attended Kearney State College and Chadron State College and was a Box Butte County rural school teacher. She also served as a 4-H leader, was a charter member of the I.C. Club, one of the first extension clubs in the county, and belonged to the First Christian Church.
Her husband and sister, both of Alliance, survive her, as do three nieces and a nephew. One brother preceded her in death."
