Modena Elaine Batey, 77, of Hobart, Ind., formerly of Marshall, Ill passed away Monday, Oct. 27, 2014.
She was a retired employee from the EJ&E Railroad after 37 years of service. She was a longtime member of the Hobart First United Methodist Church of Hobart and was a former member of the First United Methodist Church of Marshall.
She was born July 17, 1937, the daughter of Edward Elston and Ruth A. Bradley Batey.
Moderna was a 1955 graduate of Marshall High School.
