Cpl. Paul A. Kiste is actually buried at Alton Cemetery. His body was returned to the United States and buried in the family plot. The stone placed there is not just a memorial. It is an actual headstone. The attached news article even speaks about retrieving the body from the train station in Ionia, Michigan.

Paul's middle name is spelled Ardin.
∼Killed WWII in Iwo Jima buried at Alton Cemetery, Kent Co., Michigan next to his mothers. Paul was never married.
