Don R. Arehart, 81, went home to be with the Lord on October 19, 2013.

Don was born in Mogadore and lived in the area his entire life. He retired from H.M. Miller Excavating after 30 years of service. Don was a Volunteer Fireman for the Mogadore Fire Department for 25 years, he served as a member of the Greenwood Cemetery Board, and was also a member of Southeast Nazarene Church in Tallmadge for 23 years. His passion was the Hartville Flea Market where he was known as “the license plate guy”. Don loved people and would always stop to say hello to everyone.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Irene; children, Darlene, Dale (Sheila) and Dennis (Bea) Arehart; grandchildren, Sarah and Matthew (Lisa) Mangus, Dale Michael, Brandon and Dylan Arehart and Kelly (Phil) Render.

Visitation will be Tuesday, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Hopkins Lawver MOGADORE Funeral Home, 34 S. Cleveland Ave. (Rt. 532), Mogadore, Ohio 44260. Funeral service Wednesday, 11 a.m., at the funeral home with Dr. George Hazlett officiating. Burial at Greenwood Cemetery. The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Mogadore Fire & Rescue Department, 135 S. Cleveland Ave., Mogadore, Ohio 44260 or Southeast Nazarene Church, 771 Dunbar Rd., Tallmadge, Ohio 44278.
