Samuel Eckard Whitmore, son of Samuel Whitmore, died at his home near St. Petersburg on Thursday, Feb. 24, 1911 in his 53rd year. Mr. Whitmore had been ill for about 3 weeks with Bright's disease. He was born Feb. 14, 1856. In the year 1883 he was united in marriage with Mary Emma McLain and their union was blessed with five children, C. Whitmore of Petersburg and Lloyd, Clarence, Ethel and Nellie at home. He is also survived by three brothers and two sisters as follows: lsaiah and Robert of Emlenton; Henry of Titusville; Mrs. Mary E. Walters of Forest county; and Mrs. E.E. Kenemuth of Fern. Mr. Whitmore was loved by all who knew him and his kindness will be missed throughout our vicinity
