James Winston Bachar went to be with his Lord and Savior following a heroic battle with cancer.
James was a faithful follower of Christ, devoted husband, loving father, forester by occupation, fisherman and outdoorsman, NASCAR race fan, and a man of character and integrity.
He graduated from California State University, Fresno and was employed by California Forestry and Vegetation Management.
James is survived by his wife Charlotte; sons Joshua and Jonah of Caruthers; parents, Roger and Lettie Bachar of Fresno; uncle, Tom Stone and cousin Eric of Arkansas; cousin, Olivia McDonough of Texas; and nephews, Aaron and CJ Conard of Fresno.
He was highly respected and will be missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held at Page Funeral Chapel in Selma on Friday, March 31, 2006, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
A Graveside Service will be held at Washington Colony Cemetery on Saturday, April 1, 2006, at 10:00 a.m.
A Celebration of Life Service will follow at NewLife Community Church, 405 W. Lincoln in Fresno at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to a Memorial Fund for Joshua and Jonah at the California Teachers and Educational Employees Credit Union.
