Obit: George O. Dehn, 83, of 8501 Dehn Lane, Kansas City, Kansas, died yesterday at the home. Mr. Dehn was born in Lane's Prairie near Rolla, Mo., and has lived 40 years in Wyandotte County. He was a charter member of the Bethel Lutheran Church, and helped establish the Faith and Grace Lutheran Churches. Mr. Dehn was a carman for the Union Pacific Railroad, where he was employed 46 years before he retired in 1965. He was a member of the Lutheran Layman's League. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Margaret H. Dehn of the home; a stepson, Francis Overbey, Excelsior Springs; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Pearl Brady, 3835 E. 68th Terr., Mrs. Clara Redding, Camp Verde, Ariz., and Mrs. Dorothy Bachnick, 8525 Dehn Lane, Kansas City, Kansas; a brother, Charles Dehn, and a sister, Mrs. Louise Whitson, both of St. Louis; 16 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Bethel Lutheran Church, 2801 N. 83rd, Kansas City, Kansas; burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City, Kansas.
