Marvin had a strong Christian faith and loved The Lord with all his heart.he was a member of Family Worship Center.His next love was his wife, whom he loved dearly... he would always tell her she was "beautiful"and that she was "the love of his life".He loved gospel music. He loved going to bluegrass gospel concerts...he had a great sense of humor, and enjoyed visiting with his family and friends... He had a heart as big as Texas , and always wanting to help those in need. He would literally give you the shirt off his back.He He loved company and had a "great love" for his children , grandchildren, family and friends...h
Marvin went to school in Elgin,Texas. He was a truck driver for 49 years. The last 15 years of his driving career was for Reynolds Nationwide in San Antonio,Texas.. He traveled 47 states coast to coast and Canada..
Marvin was preceded in death by two brothers, Curtis Craig and Charles ray Moon,his mother, Edna Craig and his father Marsell Craig , son Ernest Randall "Randy"Love and a sister Lisa Craig and a brother in law Wayne Ross...
Those left to honor and cherish him are his loving wife Frances of nearly 36 years,4 sons. Les Craig and wife Ivena of Valley Mills,Texas, Bryan Craig of Kerrville, Texas, Marsell Craig and wife Rebecca of Austin , Texas and Bobby Love and wife Vickie of Kerrville, Texas and daughter Cristy and Eddie of Austin,Texas .. 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.... his twin brother, Marsell Craig and wife Connie of Jarrell,Texas, 3 sisters, Jo Ann Wilson and husband Jack of Elgin, Texas, Gene Roderick , and Ginger Jester and husband of Oklahoma.also his loving pets Suki ( the dog ) and Whiskers ( the cat ). Who he loved and adored.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM Wednesday October 29, 2014 at Grimes Funeral Chapels.
A celebration of his life will be at 1 PM Thursday October 30, 2014 at Grimes Funeral Chapels officiated by Rev. Charlie Burgin,Sr. And Rev. Mark Green. Interment will follow at Nichols Cemetery.
