CANISTEO - Frank F. Camps Sr., 77, of 54 Cliffside Drive, formerly of 3 Park Ave, Canisteo, died Monday (Sept 10 1990) at St. James Hospital where he had been a patient for the past month.
Born, June 3, 1913, in Canisteo, son of John and Teresa Maglier Camps, he was married July 10, 1943, to the former Mary Ellen Cowger, who died in 1988.
He lived most of his life in Canisteo and had worked for many years for A.L Blades Co. in Hornell in highway construction.
Survivors include two sons, Frank Camps Jr. of Canisteo, and Robert Camps of Kingwood, Texas, two daughters, Theresa Hughes of Canisteo and Faye Dougherty of Jacksonville, N.C. , 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren , several nieces and nephews.
