James Henry Nuckols, age 87, of Auburn, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, October 26, 2014, at the Logan Memorial Hospital. He was born in Logan County, Kentucky, on October 1, 1927, to the late Marion and Edna Rager Nuckols. He was a member of the Auburn Baptist Church, a U. S. Navy Veteran and a retired supervisor with RCA. He is preceded in death by his three brothers – William Nuckols, Aurthor Nuckols and Curtis Nuckols and two Sisters – Betty Lou Nuckols and Anna Lou Whitson. James is survived by:
Three Sisters – Nettie Mata of Texas, Eileen Wilkerson of Auburn, Kentucky and Martha Brooks of Auburn, Kentucky
Funeral services for James Henry Knuckols will be conducted Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at 1:00 P.M. in the Young Funeral Home, Auburn Chapel with Bro. Kenny Chyle officiating and burial to follow in the Auburn Cemetery. Visitation will begin Tuesday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Wednesday morning from 8:00 A.M. until funeral time.
The family asks that donations be made to the World War II Veterans Memorial. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
