William Anderson was the son of Robert Anderson and Jane Jamieson. He was one of seven children. He married Janet Reid, dau of Thomas Reid and Jane McKell, in 1904 at Fertile Creek. They became the parents of one boy; James Thomas Anderson. William died in 1952 in Huntingdon at the age of 79 years.
