He was the son of Daniel H. and Betty L. Frizzell Jenkins of Gettysburg.
Mr. Jenkins was a 1970 graduate of Francis Scott Key High School and was employed for the past 34 years with the Maryland State Highway, a majority of this time as a bridge inspector.
Bruce had been a coach for little league baseball in New Windsor for a number of years.
He was a member of Sam's Creek Church of the Brethren, near New Windsor.
He was the husband of Susan Jenkins for two years and surviving, in addition to her and also his parents, are two children, Sandy L. Jenkins and Bradley E. Jenkins, both of New Windsor; two step-sons, Darren Case and Linton Case, both of Upper Marlboro, MD; two sisters, Barbara Deeds of New Windsor and Sharon Cooke of Gettysburg; two brothers, Steve Jenkins and Randy Jenkins, both of New Windsor; and numerous nieces and nephews.
